Virginia NASCLA Commercial Building Contractor

The Virginia NASCLA Contractor license classification covers residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and modular construction along with remodeling or ancillary work.

This is an unlimited license. It also allows for work under many of the various sub classifications.

The NASCLA Contractor License classification is reciprocal for many states!

It allows you to use your license in Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and The U.S. Virgin Islands.

Virginia Residential Building Contractor (RBC)

Virginia Residential Building Contractors are those whose contracts include construction, remodeling, repair, improvement, removal, or demolition or real property owned, controlled or leased by another person of dwellings and townhouses, as defined in the USBC, including accessory buildings or structures on such property.

Virginia Commercial Improvement Contractor (CIC)

A Commercial Improvement Contractor provides services for repair or improvement to structures not defined as dwellings and townhouses in the USBC.

The CIC classification does not provide for the construction of new buildings, accessory buildings, electrical, plumbing, HVAC or gas work.

The Commercial Building Contractor is one whose contracts include construction, remodeling, repair, improvement, removal, or demolition on real property owned, controlled or leased by another person of commercial, industrial, institutional, governmental, and accessory use buildings or structures.
